Oct, 2009 - Loudoun County Volunteer Rescue Squad Wins First Place
The Loudoun County Volunteer Rescue Squad won first place in the Virginia Association of Volunteer Rescue Squads' EMT B competition held last weekend in Virginia Beach. The competition team consisted of David Beatty, Michelle Beatty, James Cromer, Marie Powell, Patricia Russell, and Coach Denise Alt. They competed against 25 other teams throughout the state, claiming first place for the 3rd time in the last 5 years (the other two finishes were in the top 4). This win qualifies them to compete at the International Rescue and Emergency Care Association competition in June 2010.
