Brownies anyone?

Brownie Troop 4521 from Leesburg Elementary school recently toured the squad and learned about how EMTs take of the sick and injured. The third graders were guided by Sgt. Debbie Bowlds, EMT, on the importance of vital signs, making patients comfortable and learning about the equipment first responders use during an emergency call. Touring the ambulances and sitting in the driver’s seat was the fun part! The Loudoun County Volunteer Rescue Squad is always happy to provide tours of the facility and share stories of how our dedicated members provide emergency medical services to the community.
