A moment of silence

In a show of unity, the Loudoun County Fire and Rescue Combined System assembled on the town green to remember all that perished on September 11 fifteen years ago. Mayor Dave Butler provided inspiration and hope by identifying courageous individuals who personally experienced the horror of that day. With bagpipes and color guard setting the tone for the solemnity of the occasion, the Loudoun County Volunteer Rescue Squad’s presence was a testament to all first responders making the ultimate sacrifice.
