New Ambulance 613-5 in service

Loudoun County Volunteer Rescue Squad is proud to announce that our new ambulance unit 613-5 was put in service on July 11th, 2013. It’s a Horton model #623 ambulance mounted on an International 4300 chassis. It replaces a 2005 International 4300 also built by Horton. It has the following features and capabilities:

  • Basic & Advanced Life Support Equipment & buy viagra tablet Capabilities.
  • Whelen Emergency LED Lights Package
  • Whelen Howler Siren is designed to emit a hum that can cause vibrations up to 200 feet away. It can penetrate through objects such as cars to alert drivers.
  • Stryker Power-PRO™ XT battery-powered hydraulic Cot.

LCVRS would like to thank Lt/Medic Tony Mino and his committee who have been working hard on this project. Another new ambulance will be placed on order in the next couple of weeks. Delivery of the next unit is expected sometime during fall 2013.
