VIRGINIA LITTLE LEAGUE TOURNAMENT

The Loudoun County Volunteer Rescue Squad was on stand-by on July 23-24 at the 2011 Little League Baseball Viriginia State Tournament   Virginia District 16, based in Leesburg, hosted the games at Freedom Park.  Sixteen teams from all of Virginia participated with the winning team playing in the regional tournament.  Winners of the regional tournament go to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA.   Volunteers provided a cooling station and emergency medical services to those in need.  The rescue squad is proud to serve the community and pleased to help Leesburg’s aspiring baseball players.
