INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE

The Independence Day Parade is one of Leesburg’s most patriotic community events.  It’s also one of the few days that Americans reflect on the freedom we enjoy and thank those who serve their country.  The Loudoun County Volunteer Rescue Squad was showing off some of their newer vehicles at the parade.   Canteen 13, an auxiliary vehicle driven by Harry Householder is designed to provide food and beverage service to rescue personnel at major incidents and public stand-bys, led the Rescue Squad entourage .  The Special Emergency Response Vehicle drivien by Tami Bredow was followed by Ambulance 613-2 driven by Chief Wagner Grier.  The Heavy Rescue Squad Truck was last in line piloted by the LCFR career staff.  Thank you to all who participated.
