Scouts Promote Goodwill

Cub Scout Pack 965 delivered 100 Candy Grams to the Loudoun County Volunteer Rescue Squad, Leesburg Volunteer Fire Company, and the Leesburg Police Department on February 20th.   Cub Scout Patrick Rice solved a word puzzle in the Boy Scout magazine “Boy’s Life” and won 100 candy grams for the Pack.  A part of the Cub Scout Pack Law is ” The Cub Scout gives goodwill”.  As the boys live by the Pack Law, they decided to present the Candy Grams as an acknowledgement of the men and women dedicated to public safety in our community.

Boys attending from Pack 965 were Eion Cowing, Ryan Elarde, Trevor Green, Daniel Hackman, Josh Hyuuh, Tyler Kraatz, Troy Puccio, Patrick Rice, Daniel Turner, and Jack Turner, and from Pack 71 Patrick Wilkins and Scott Wilkins, and Boy Scout Jake Blycher from Troop 1910 serving as Den Chief.
